Martha Padilla – Director
Martha is a paramedic who has worked in the medical field all her life, with experience in labor and delivery and emergency departments (while interpreting in all departments of the hospital). She has lived in Lake County for decades, where her father owns a family-run Mexican grocery store. Martha has started a non-profit organization in honor of her daughter Lilly who has DS, which raises awareness bilingually, bringing the DS community together to inspire and support each other’s journey! Martha and Lilly (one of eight in her clan) enjoy hanging out at the ranch with the horses, doing fun activities (including PT time for Lilly and doing things that school calls “life skills” but they call making memories), cooking and making tortillas and dancing and singing loudly in the car! Martha loves meeting new families that share the journey she is on.
